Global Health Consulting Ltd. is Health Consulting and Services Company that offers health solutions to health care providers and clients. Based in Zagreb, the Republic of Croatia, the company is privately owned by a Swiss parenting company. Founded in 2006, the company’s goal is to execute health projects that would improve the interface amongst pharmaceutical and health care providers and their patients. In meeting the needs of clients, the priority has been given to developments in our healthcare system by improving efficiency and medical practice standards. Our core competencies comprise health consultancy and medicine. The quality of service we provide in My Doctor health plans ensures patients and healthcare professionals solutions in real time. Our affiliations with carefully selected private practitioners of various specialties, private hospitals, private ambulance transportation, pharmacists and laboratories, enabled us to establish our highly integrated national provider physician network (PPO) in all major Croatian cities. Global Health Consulting has recognized the need to produce modern processes and administration systems that will make healthcare more efficient. This enables us to effectively manage patients’ care and provide a high quality service to our clients. Our company recognizes its opportunity for growth in the private healthcare industry. Through combining our expertise in medicine with modern technologies, we aim to offer highly specialized health services at an international standard and develop new methods for faster and more accurate diagnosis. Our company's goal is to meet our social responsibility of promoting the health needs of our community. OUR SERVICE
Global Health Consulting is using a unique solution for patients’ healthcare needs known as My Doctor. Our service innovation offers a new type of health plan for individuals and families that enable more choice and flexibility for both medical and dental needs. With My Doctor health plans patients receive a highly personalized and professional service with benefits.
In executing our project, we have collaborated with a number of private doctors and allied health professionals including pharmacists and laboratory services, with the goal to be more highly integrated and provide medical treatment without delays.
My Doctor offers solutions for non-emergency health needs, where patients are able to consult with our general practitioners for medical assistance 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our virtual consultation services are highly customized to meet our patients primary health needs. The general practitioners are comfortably situated in our “state of the art” call-centre and are available for consultation via telephone, mobile phone, email or our internet web portal. Using advanced communication technologies, we provide a secure internet portal. My Doctor offers clinically structured communications protecting the privacy of patients.
For members, we offer additional services such as access to their medical information and special needs programs. Registered members have the benefit of being more actively involved in their healthcare decisions.
The use of healthcare portal is available at www.mojdoktor.hr webpage. The portal is supplied with numerous useful health related information and anybody can read the latest news from popular medicine every day. The portal also offers and electronic magazine issued every two weeks, Health4U, with abundance of educational articles from all medical fields, written by renowned experts. There are parts of the portal available for the members with some additional educational material and healthcare tools for individual use. Since October 2007, a similar portal in English language has been available -www.mydoctor.com.hr.

OUR PHISICAN PROVIDERS
Our health care provider network currently consists of private practitioners of various specialties, private hospitals, private ambulance transportation, pharmacists and laboratories. Part of our strategic developments includes the possible expansion of our network to include new private hospital services. The physicians in our call centre provide 24 hour medical advice through web enabled and telephone consultations, assisting patients in choosing a specialist provider in our network for quality treatment. The specialists participating in our provider network are regularly monitored, ensuring their compliance to our health practice standards for quality assurance. The director for quality control systems and our board of medical directors, regularly undertake audits of the physicians practice to ensure they meet our quality standard. Our specialist providers provide medical and dental treatment and cover a broad range of services: internal medicine, pediatrics, surgery, pediatric surgery, urology, orthopedics, ENT (ear, nose and throat), gynecology, obstetrics, ophthalmology, radiology, pulmonology, immunology, allergy, physiotherapy, rheumatology, neurology, psychiatry, dermatology, maxilla facial surgery, oral surgery, dental, orthodontia, prosthetics, laboratory medicine and pathology. In consulting with the hospitals and clinics’ management team, we assist organizations in upgrading their systems and adopting modern clinical processes. We provide our clients with the necessary education and guidelines for managing their quality system. Global Health Consulting provides healthcare companies expert advice on the effective deployment of its resources, in order to achieve higher standards in clinical efficiency. At Global Health Consulting Ltd. our highly skilled employees are working in project teams, making sure that our customer service and quality of care meets our high standard. The consulting project team has various qualifications and is successfully completing projects in Croatian hospitals and clinics. Our qualified physicians and affiliated providers are accredited. The Croatian medical training model is based on that of the U.S. and other western countries, so the doctors have received numerous years of training. Many have received training abroad and in our PPO network, and all of them will be able to converse with you in English. Doctors pride themselves on their attentiveness to patients, so a high level of personally catered care can be expected. The dedicated project teams are actively involved in designing and implementing modern systems and process that will optimize the quality of our doctor-patient consultations and medical efficiency. Global Health Consulting Ltd. (GHC) from Zagreb successfully finished the process of introducing quality management system under the ISO 9001:2000 international standard. The Certificate was issued by Accredited Unit of Det Norske Veritas Adriatica Ltd. in September 2008. The ISO 9001:2000 certificate for quality management systems in provision of services related to healthcare management consulting confirms permanent commitment of GHC company to development and improvement of quality of its work, products and services, with intention to achieve satisfaction of clients, employees and business partners, as well as to retain and improve the leading place in private healthcare business within Croatia and abroad.
